In 2025, Learn Fresh welcomed four new members to its Board of Directors: Andy Bowman, Shannon Traenkenschuh, Nour Abdelmonem, and Rhonda Bettis. Together, these leaders bring deep expertise across marketing and communications, technology transformation, education innovation, corporate leadership, organizational strategy, and community impact.

Their diverse professional backgrounds and shared commitment to expanding opportunity for students will help guide Learn Fresh through its next phase of growth, as the organization continues to scale its sports-based STEM learning programs across the United States and around the world.

Andy Bowman

Andy Bowman is a seasoned marketing and communications leader with decades of experience building global brands and shaping the intersection of business and culture. From Apple and Xbox to adventure and electric vehicles, beer, and body spray, Andy has a proven track record of driving ideas and strategies on behalf of iconic brands and the people behind them.

Andy currently serves as Vice President of Communications for the Jeep brand in Detroit. Prior to Jeep, he held senior marketing and communications leadership roles at electric vehicle startup Rivian. In California, Andy also spent nearly a decade at Apple helping introduce some of the company’s most iconic technologies and services to the world. Earlier in his career, he held marketing and communications roles at MillerCoors and spent several years at Edelman, where he worked across strategy and creative roles for leading clients including Unilever, Walmart, and Microsoft.

Throughout his career, Andy has been a trusted counselor to CEOs and CMOs, led partnerships with major sports and entertainment properties such as the NHL and MLB, and worked extensively across the sports media landscape.

Andy proudly serves on the board of Learn Fresh, where he supports the organization through storytelling and media relations. His work has contributed to national visibility, including a Good Morning America profile of the "NBA Math Hoops" program that aired during the 2025 NBA Draft.

Andy holds a degree from Purdue University, where he was also a writer for The Purdue Exponent student newspaper. His connection to education runs deep as the son of two high school teachers and the younger brother of a sociology professor who studies birth order theory and regularly reminds him, “you’re such a classic youngest sibling.”
