In 2024, MLS STEM Goals officially joined the Learn Fresh program lineup, launching with a successful pilot in partnership with Dynamo and Dash Charities and the Houston Dynamo. The program kicked off in the Houston area during the fall and culminated with the first-ever Dynamo STEM Goals Regional Tournament at Shell Energy Stadium on October 22, welcoming 68 students—a record-breaking turnout for an inaugural regional tournament across any Learn Fresh program. The day featured memorable moments, including a surprise visit from Dynamo and Dash goalkeepers Andrew Tarbell and Heather Hinz, as well as a special on-field experience for participating students.
To support future expansion, Learn Fresh also piloted MLS STEM Goals at eight school sites in Los Angeles, gathering valuable feedback to refine the program experience and assess opportunities for growth in another key MLS market. Beyond club-level partnerships, we continue to strengthen our relationship with Major League Soccer, participating in marquee events like MLS All-Star in Columbus, Ohio, and working collaboratively with league leadership to design a strategic rollout that prioritizes sustainability and long-term impact.
Looking ahead, Learn Fresh projects partnerships with at least five MLS clubs for the 2025 season, expanding the reach of MLS STEM Goals and bringing innovative STEM learning opportunities to more students through the power of soccer.
